Fifth graders will have “Move Up Day” on June 5, 2019. They will attend an orientation at CMS during the school day to meet their future teachers. The teachers will give a tour of the school, and students will have a snack in the cafeteria, and then meet with Cawley’s principal, Mr. Benson. That evening, at 5:30 PM, Cawley teachers and some of the fifth grade teachers from Memorial will be hosting a super fun time for fifth and sixth graders ONLY in the CMS gym and cafeteria. There will be a dance with a DJ, carnival games, basketball, and refreshments for sale including Kona Ice. At 6:30 PM, CMS Principal Mr. Benson will be speaking with parents in the CMS media center to provide an overview of the sixth grade, including academic and extra curricular programs offered at Cawley.
