Tinker Days @ HMS

Rosanne Beaudoin, HMS Media Specialist, has been working with representatives from the Hooksett Public Library to offer an opportunity for all students to “tinker” with different STEM products and activities again this year.  Each classroom will have the opportunity to explore coding through Ozobots, Probots, and Sphero; learn about electricity and circuitry through Snapcircuits and clay circuit activities; focus on logic and sequencing by playing Gravity Maze and other games; and learn to think spatially and use creativity by using recyclables and MakeDo kits to create new objects. It’s been exciting to see the classes that have done the Tinker Day and the other classes are looking forward to it. The materials are also available for loan to classrooms as well.
