Hooksett February Vacation Information

January 25, 2021

Dear Hooksett Families,

I am pleased to report that our first week transitioning back to in-person instruction as gone smoothly. Hopefully, this trend will continue in the coming weeks. I realize that some families may be planning to travel during the February Break. I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that if you travel outside of New England, you will need to quarantine for a period of 10 days upon your return to New Hampshire. Any students who need to be quarantined as a result of travel will be able to access their assignments on either See Saw or Schoology. Those students may not participate with their teachers via Room and Zoom. The rationale for making this decision is based on the fact that the Room and Zoom instructional model is designed for those students who need to be quarantined as a result of being identified a close contact.  On behalf of all our teachers, support staff and administrators, thank you for all the support you have provided our students during these unprecedented times. If you have any additional questions, please contact your child’s principal.

Sincerely,
William Rearick
Superintendent of Schools
