Hello Memorial Parents! The Invention Convention is around the corner and we need some parent volunteers to help with the day, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH, 2019. We’re asking for one hour of your time to help guide groups of students around the inventions, which will be set up in the gym. Visits will happen all throughout the day. Your job is like a chaperone or museum tour guide – where you will be able to help demonstrate inventions when inventors cannot be there (they will come and go as their schedule allows). We don’t want visiting students to touch the inventions, as some can be rather delicate. It’s a pretty fun job and the teachers will be grateful to have some more sets of eyes helping keep their students focused on the inventions. If you have any questions, please ask. You can reach Tracey at the school email: firstname.lastname@example.org Please feel free to pick any times or stay for more than one hour, if you wish. We estimate you’ll help with 2 or more classes in your hour. Thank you in advance! Tracey Ruest and Donna Tremblay, Hooksett ALPS Teachers.
