STEM Activities at HMS with the Hooksett Public Library

Grace Larochelle, one of Hooksett Public Library’s Youth Services Librarians, and Grade Four Teacher, Janet Champagne, are coordinating an after school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program at HMS. This afterschool program will run for four sessions, from approximately 3:30 to 5:00PM, during the month of May. This unique after-school program will give children a hands-on opportunity to learn through play. STEM activities, those that blend science, technology, engineering, and math, will be the focus of our exploration time, with attention to coding, circuitry, experiments, engineering design challenges and more. These STEM activities will also coincide with classroom curriculums. Students were required to register for this free program. Thanks to all for coordinating this fun, free STEM opportunity for our students!
