“Personal space, outer space…What’s the difference?” asks Lewis the space expert. Lewis, the main character in Julia’s Cook’s delightful story, “Personal Space Camp” has a problem with personal space. Through the use of props, students experienced how it feels when your personal space is invaded. In school we usually like our personal space to be about a big as a hula hoop. Students decided family and good friends can be close – inside the hoop. New friends and strangers should be outside the hoop.
