Introducing our new Assistant Principal Annie Kelly. She received her Master’s in Education from the University of New Hampshire. In 2004, she became a classroom teacher at a small school in Hawaii. After being there for two years, she was offered a position as the Director of a Marine Child Development Center. She learned how to work with a variety students and age levels, to run professional development trainings, and to work closely with families and staff on how to make education work for each individual student. After 5 years in Hawaii, she and her husband returned home to NH where she earned her Principal Certification at New England College. During this time she worked as a Math Interventionist in Nashua. She then worked in Newmarket NH as a 3rd grade teacher for the past four years. During this time, the Kelly’s welcomed their son. Her time working in the classroom, as an interventionist, and her experience as an administrator combined to give her an understanding of how the different roles in education must work together for good of both the children and the families. She loves that the philosophy of our district centers around the thought “it takes a village to raise a child” as she believes that it is essential to work together, including students, parents, teachers, administrators and the surrounding community. Welcome Mrs. Kelly!
