Grade 6 Orientation Day is June 6

All fifth grade students will have the opportunity to attend an orientation in the afternoon of June 6 to meet their future teachers. The teachers will give a tour of the school, and students will have a snack in the cafeteria, and then meet with Cawley’s principal, Mr. Benson.

Later that evening from 6:30 to 7:30, Mr. Benson will be speaking with parents in the CMS media center to provide an overview of the sixth grade, including academic and extra curricular programs offered at Cawley. There will be time for questions.

The “Step-Up-Palooza” will be held in the Cawley gym and cafeteria on the same day from 5:30 to 7:30. Cawley teachers and some of the fifth grade teachers from Memorial will be hosting a super fun time for fifth and sixth graders ONLY! There will be a dance with a DJ, carnival games, basketball, and refreshments for sale including Kona Ice!
