Students, parents and staff will be traveling to the Minute Man National Historical Park in both Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts on April 15. They will participate in varied re-enactments during the day involving a Colonial Militiaman, a Daughter of Liberty, and a British Soldier. Students will tour the North Bridge and visit the North Bridge Visitor Center. The grade five curriculum has a focus on the causes and events of the Revolutionary War and the impacts and events after the war including the establishment of the United States Government. This trip takes students to the place where history actually occurred, providing them with a memorable life experience. Hope for great weather!
