What an exciting week for third grade! In addition to the students planting seeds in their science classes, we also had two special guests from “Discover the Power of Parks.” Rangers Lauren and Claire, both of whom work in New Hampshire’s State Parks, made their lessons on plants and animals fun and hands-on for the students. Our third graders used animal artifacts to identify various New Hampshire animals, played a game about life cycles in our ecosystems, and completed leaf rubbings. Thank you Rangers! We learned a lot!
